Directors Assistant - Installation Instructions The computer must be running windows 2000 or XP. You must have Microsoft Word 97 or later installed and working prior to installation. Select the defaults and install the master program. After installation reboot the computer. Once the computer starts again, an Icon will appear in the taskbar on the right hand side with a computer and a red dot next to it. Wait till the red dot changes to a green arrow. Double click the icon on the desktop marked MakeTables.bat. Once this has finished, you can delete the icon from the desktop. Run the Directors Assistant program and select the admin button. Input data into the company info boxes and then the employees etc. (Leave the Family in there as an employee, this allows you to select the Family as having done some of the admin if required. This will become clear as you use the program. Input a funeral and you can try the various printouts. All of the printouts will fire up into Microsoft Word, where you can edit them before printing. The layouts can be altered to suit your Letterhead etc. We would normally demonstrate this during the installation and training, so give us a call and we can talk you through this if required.
